To our wonderful community
We want to share a quick update on how we’re operating so we can provide the best possible care for the animals. We are working with a very limited staff and are incredibly busy both before and during opening hours.
-
Morning Prep: Before we open, our hands are full cleaning, feeding, and caring for our animals. Because of this, we cannot answer the phone prior to opening.
-
Booking Status: We are currently fully booked through the end of March and are unable to schedule any new appointments at this time.
-
When to Call Back: Please check back with us on a Wednesday in the middle of March. We hope to have new dates available for April and May at that time, though we cannot provide any guarantees until then.
-
Our Vet Schedule: We have one amazing veterinarian who visits one day a week to serve the public, travelling all the way from East Jordan to do so. Because her time is limited, she can only see a specific number of patients, and we are currently catching up on clinics delayed by weather and health issues.
-
We are currently overwhelmed with requests for care and, to remain fair to everyone, we cannot manage a waitlist.
-
We understand this is frustrating. As one facility serving countless across the state, our resources are stretched thin. If you require more immediate assistance, please check our Additional Resources Page for a list of other organizations. Most are also experiencing high demand, but they may have different availability. Thank you for being patient with our team.
-
Phone Calls: If you call, please leave a message. Our service provider automatically blocks and marks numbers as "Spam" if they call repeatedly without leaving a voicemail.
-
We ask for your patience as we navigate these challenges. We’re doing our best for the animals and for you!
Thank you for your incredible support and understanding.
