DUDLEY

My name is Dudley, and I am a Chocolate Labrador Retriever. I guess you could say that I am middle-aged; I seem to be in good health, no complaints from my end except that I don’t have a home. Like all the others here, I came in as a stray. My owners never came to see if I was here, so now I will be looking for a new home. They tell me that shouldn’t be a problem since I am very handsome, I know some commands, and I’m not a goof ball. They also said I have to be neutered-- not sure what that means, but they told me that, after I’m neutered, I won’t want to be leaving home to find girl dogs which would keep me safer, so I’m all for that. I am getting very excited about meeting my new family. I hope they have lots of things for me to do, like going for walks, swimming, chasing balls; I will even get your slippers if you teach me! I am pretty gentle and have a sweet nature about me; yes, boy dogs can be this way and be proud of it too! I just know my new family is reading this right now, so come to the Sheriff's Dept. and meet me and take me home. If you have more questions about me, please call Pauline at 989-785-3463 and also give her a call if you have a dog that needs help staying home by getting them neutered or spayed. The Elk Country Animal Shelter can help you get this done.
