Pet of the Week
March 6,2006
Finally, it's my turn to be Pet of the Week! My name is Corky, and I am a Beagle mix. I am not a puppy and not a senior. I fit perfectly right in between the two. I am a bit on the chubby side; well, to tell the truth when Pauline carried me she was doing a lot of moaning and groaning, so I may be a little more than a ³bit." I do know she said I needed to be on a diet at my new home. I think that will be just fine with me. When I get to my new home, I will have lots of things to do besides eat, like getting petted, going outside, getting petted some more, going outside and more petting. I am getting worn out just thinking about it. Maybe I will take a nap and dream about my new home.
I love big people and little people, I am a gentle guy, and believe it or not, I am quiet and laid back, very happy and playful. I would make anyone a great companion, and I hope now that I am the Pet of the Week someone special will see me and come and get me. My buddy Floyd was adopted last week by a very nice man, so this week it's my turn to find MY new home.
If you want to meet me, I will be patiently waiting in Kennel #6 at the Montmorency County Sheriff's Dept., or you can call Pauline at 785-3463 for more information. Please spay and neuter your pets. If you have a dog 45 pounds or over, we can help you get this done. Call or email Linda at 785-3325.
