CONRAD PET OF THE WEEK MARCH 12, 2007

Hello out there! My name is Conrad, and I am a 4-5 month old Pit Bull mix. Don’t really know what I am mixed with but, I do know that I am very mixed up about being here at the Sheriff's Dept. I used to have a home, and now I don’t. I don’t think I did anything so wrong to deserve being without a home. Sure I could have had an accidental piddle or chewed a tiny bit on those shoes left lying around, but I’m just a baby and need to be taught.

I am a sweet pup and a bit on the quiet side. I don’t get overly excited and jump around like a crazy--not like I have seen other pups act. I will try my best to be a good boy, and I will grow up to be a dog with a heart big enough to love everyone I meet. Please don’t try to adopt me if you are looking for a dog to be a big bully--that’s not me. If you are looking for a pup that will grow up to be your best friend, know all the tricks you teach me, be loyal to you forever, lick your tears if you are sad, protect you from the boogie man, keep you warm at night and most of all love you no matter what, I am the pup for you. I can do this job!

You can visit me at the Montmorency County Sheriff's Dept. I will be waiting quietly for you to come, or you can call Pauline at 989-785-3463 for more information.
Do you have a male cat that needs to be fixed? The Elk Country Animal Shelter can help you get this done at the Mobile Cat Clinic! We are having two in March, and it may not return again until Fall so this may be the only opportunity you will have to get your cat fixed. Please call Maggie at 989-786-5139. At this mobile clinic, we will also be doing vaccinations and micro-chipping for both DOGS and CATS.
