We welcome all volunteers; they come in all ages, and Elk Country Animal Shelter couldn't do all we do for the animals in the community without our younger volunteers whose energy and dedication to the homeless animals of our community inspires us.

Instead of having their Christmas party and giving gifts to each other, Hillman School Children from Mrs. Selesky's 2nd grade, Mrs. Trelfa's 2nd grade and Mr. Selesky's 6th grade donated gifts to the Elk Country Animal Shelter dogs and cats. Kitty litter, bowls of many sizes, collars, Dawn dish detergent, cat food, dog treats, toys, paper toweling, and many more items. In addition to all the wonderful gifts they collected $70.00 for the shelter.
