My name is Vinny and I’m a Black Labrador Retriever. I am living at the Sheriff’s department but this is just a temporary arrangement because my new family is going to be coming to get me any day now; I just can feel this is going to happen soon! Boomer already told you a little bit about me - the part about him beating me in the race around the snow pile isn’t exactly true, I let him win but don’t tell him that. He’s a nice dog and I let him win out of respect because he’s older. Sometimes that’s just what you have to do for the little pups and the older dogs. Just part of being a good dog! If you came to visit me you would see that I have the most shiny blackest coat of a Lab ever, I have that nice short rudder tail us Labs are supposed to have and I use that tail ALL the time, it’s always wagging, I’m always happy. I love people of any size; Labs are great family dogs and I’m the cream of the crop when living up to that one! They think I am housebroken, I will try my hardest to hold it for hours and hours until they come to let me out of my kennel. They think I was a house dog but I was never neutered so I ran off looking for girl dogs, if only I had been neutered I wouldn’t want to run away. I sure want to have that done so when I go to my new family I won’t ever want to run away. If you are looking for a Great dog, come visit me!
