THE WALKER FAMILY
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving; we did now that we are at the Sheriff's Dept. and getting well fed, kept warm and dry and we are very thankful for that!
We are the Walker family, me, my brother and my Mom. My brother and I are just youngsters. We were trying so hard to keep up with our Mom while she tried to find some food for all of us. She had no more milk to give us; there were three of us young pups then, and we were all very, very skinny. Finally, we were picked up and brought to the Sheriff's dept. where we had the biggest meal ever. Sadly, it was too late for our littlest sister; she was just too weak to eat. We, on the other hand, have grown leaps and bounds, and we have gone to the vet, gotten rid of our worms and have had our first shot.. Our bones aren’t sticking out like they used to, and our coats are getting very pretty. We are all Walker hounds and will grow up to be pretty big; well heck come look at my Mom, and that’s about how big we will get.
We all need homes even my Mom, so if you love hounds, come take a look at us; we will be waiting for you at the Montmorency Co. Sheriff''s Dept., or you can call Pauline at 989-785-3463 for more information. Pauline wants to apologize for not having a Pet of the Week last week; she had to go greet her daughter Amy, who is stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas and just returned from her second deployment to Iraq. We all have much to be thankful for.
