Hi! My name is Tank, I think I got my name because I’m built like one, if you can’t tell by my picture you sure could if you met me in dog – everyone that goes by my kennel will say “So you are Tank – and we can see how you got your name!”.. I’m a Shepherd Mix of some sort, I’m a big lover of a dog, I like other dogs but I especially like people, people are the best thing in the world for a dog. Some days lately, when we get to go outside for a while, the sun finally shining bright and warming the soil - I would lie down and stretch out as far as I could and day dream about the day my new owner comes to get me to take me home, the kind words spoken when I get to jump in the car to head for home, oh, I just can’t wait to see what it’s like – maybe a big soft bed where I lay to watch TV with you, a hand that will always stroke my head and maybe share a piece of popcorn or two. That day will warm my heart for the rest of my life as I know that special person will love me as much as I will love him. I’m not a spring chicken but I’m not a real oldster either, guess you can call me middle aged, smart, sensible and old enough to know what’s good for me and that is getting out of here to spend the rest of my life making you happy. If you would like to come meet me I will be waiting at the shelter, we are right next to the Sheriffs Dept. and we love to have visitors. There are many other dogs here that need homes and some very nice cats too! If I’m not the one for you surely someone here will capture your heart.
