Sinbad
February 5, 2007
Brrrr is it cold out, even for a big Husky like me! My name is Sinbad. I’m about three years old. I don’t get too awfully excited around here, but I do talk a lot and sometimes sing. If you have ever heard a Husky “sing,” you will know what I mean. I don’t look my best because my hair was chopped off in hunks, guess I was matted, and the people that had me just took off the bad parts, made me feel a bit better but sure didn’t do much for my looks; but it’s already starting to grow in and look much better.
I think I have been here the longest; it’s almost three months now, and that’s way too long for a dog to live in a shelter. I need a home! When visitors come, I just get passed by; is it my haircut or is it because I’m not a young pup anymore? All I want is to get out of here and get a new home; I’m really a laid back guy and will try my best to be the dog you expect me to be.
If you have been thinking about getting a dog, please come visit the Montmorency County Sheriff’s Department. if you have room in your life to get one of these dogs out of the bitter cold and into a warm relationship with you, now is the time; they would be forever grateful. Call Pauline at 989-785-3463 for more information. If you would like to make a donation to the shelter dogs mail it to Elk Country Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 434, Atlanta, MI 49709 attn: shelter dogs.
