Hello! My name is Stitch and I’m looking for a home. Believe it or not I’m a Rottweiler Beagle mix, I am just what you pictured – a Rottweiler with short legs and droopy ears, yep that’s me. I have the strength and intelligence of the Rottweiler plus the kind heart and fun loving of the Beagle. What a package I am! I spent a week at school and she said I was smart, a quick learner and most importantly a great dog…. I just soak up attention and love it more than the finest liver treats ever made. I’m not a push over and I’m strong so I’m looking for those same qualities in my new owner, all the rest is bonuses - the attention I give you, the “looks” with my big brown eyes I give you, the protection from evils I give you and unconditional love I will give you. Oh, and yes I am housebroken and crate trained. I know some commands but would love to learn more, much more….soak it up like a sponge; especially when I get out of here because there are too many cat distractions - might be best if I don’t go to a home with cats. I do get along great with other dogs, love to play and I’m not a bully or someone looking to scrap. I’m already neutered with all my shots and microchiped – I even come with 30 free pet health insurance and a complimentary homecoming visit to get us off on the right path together.
If you would like to know more about me you can call the Elk Country Animal Shelter 989-785-3738 or just head over here to meet me! Oh, the shelter is having their annual Turkey Dinner/Auction in Hillman this coming Sunday – lots of great food and fun so don’t miss it.
