BACK

My name is Shorty and I’m a Beagle boy whose nose got me into trouble. We Beagles put our noses to the ground and off we go; going where ever our nose takes us. My nose brought me here to the Sherriff’s department (not exactly what I was expecting at the end of the rabbit trail). Well, doesn’t matter now, I’m here, but I sure don’t want to be. So now, if my picture alone hasn’t already done so, I have to figure out how to charm you so much you can’t resist adopting me. I’m one of those short legged little Beagles, that’s why they named me Shorty. I am a good boy, cute as any Beagle can be and gosh do I love people and love to play with people. I would be great in a home with kids, man would we have fun – but if you don’t have kids that’s alright too, I can play with big people or little people, doesn’t matter to me. I’m a happy guy, always glad to see anyone and everyone. Come visit and I will show you just how happy I can be, take me home with you and I promise to repay you with pleasure everyday day for the rest of my life. Just please don’t let me follow my nose away from home again, please make sure I stay home where I will be safe. We Beagles just can’t help it, maybe that’s why there are now three of us at the kennel (but I am, by far the cutest). I will be waiting for you at the Sheriff’s department or you can call Pauline at 989-785-3463 for more information.

This weekend brings excitement! Don’t miss the biggest ever - annual garage sale for the Elk Country Animal Shelter and the very first Teen Dance put on by the Elk Country Animal Shelter Youth Group.
