Happy day to you! My name is Shade and I’m a Labrador mix, black if you can’t tell by my picture. I’m so much like a chubby puppy but I’m all the way full grown. I love to give kisses, and more kisses if you let me. I know how to sit, shake and most of the time I come when I’m called. I’m working very, very hard on learning not to jump on people; I know I’m not supposed to but sometimes I just get so excited to see someone that I just can’t help myself, but I’m trying. Once I’m out of the kennel I settle down very quickly. I’m the kind of dog that will be content to just hang out with you while you are working on something but when you are ready to go do something else like go for a walk or go for a car ride I’m up and ready for the good times ahead. I’m very lady like riding in the car, I’m patient and I don’t jump around like a looney tune so feel free to take me with you to lots of places. I seem to like most of the other dogs I have met, as long as they like me I’m glad to make friends. I am very smart and a quick learner so I’m ready to make someone very happy by being their new dog. Oh, did I tell you that I’m very pretty? Well I sure think I am and if I had a bath I would be shining like a full moon!
