PET OF THE WEEK--NOV. 12, 2007--SCOUT
Hey everyone, my name is Scout, and I’m a Corgi Sheltie mix. I look somewhat like a small Collie with short legs. I’m not a big dog but not an itty bitty one either. I weight somewhere around thirty pounds, give or take a few; that perfect size for anyone's dog. I am very handsome and have the most beautiful coat of any dog here. As you might already guess, I’m staying at the Sheriff's dept. for the time being-- that is until this week when I hopefully find my forever family. I have to tell you that I don’t care much for other dogs, at least none of the dogs that I have met here are to my liking. I keep myself real busy just trying to keep all these other dogs in order . "Quit running around and barking," I keep telling them, but most of the time, they don’t even listen
to me, so I’m best living without any of them. People are my true love. I love them,, and I’m very friendly, but here at the kennel, I am so preoccupied with my endless job of trying to keep these other dogs under control, I might not even notice you are here, so please don’t pass me up without giving me a chance. There are many of us at the kennel , and if I’m not to your liking (which I highly doubt), there are many others to choose from, which would at least make my job here a bit easier. Please come visit us; give one of us a chance for a better life. We are not here through any fault of our own. If you would like more information on me or any of the others, you can call Pauline at 989-785-3463. Be a responsible pet owner; get your pet spayed or neutered. Call Pauline if you need help.
