Sandy
Hi everyone! My name is Sandy. I am only about 1 year old, and they say I am part pit bull and part shepherd. Those ³parts² don't matter much to me, but what does matter is that I am friendly and I love people and I want a home to call my own.
I am in Kennel #1 so I am the first to greet anyone that comes to visit so you can't miss me. I don't know if you can tell in my picture that I have stripes like a Tiger; the people here tell me I have a very pretty coat.
Spring is on its way, so now would be a good time to adopt me. The weather is getting nicer, so we can go for long walks or just play in the yard together. I am a very smart girl and just need someone to take the time to teach me things, and I will learn them I promise. I have seen several other dogs come and go. They are very happy to get picked, and I am very happy for them too, but when will it be my turn to get picked? I know there is someone out there just waiting to be my best friend. Maybe that someone will see me in the Pet of the Week and say, ³There she is; that's the dog I have been waiting for²!
Come and meet me. I will be very happy to go home with you.
Sandy can be seen at the Montmorency County Sheriff's Dept. ,or if you want more information on her or any of the other dogs needing homes, you can call Pauline at 785-3463 or e-mail Pauline. Please spay and neuter your pets; we can help you get this done if your dog is 45 lbs or over, just give Linda a call at 785-3325 or e-mail Linda.
