Hi! My name is Sadie and I’m a Border Collie, maybe Labrador mix. My coat is right in between short and long, has a very pretty wave to it and is silky soft. I have been at the kennel for a very long time. I am very much in need of, and would love to, have a bath so my beautiful coat would be clean and shiny but it’s so cold out they have put a ban on dog baths until it warms way up and June is a long way off. But that doesn’t apply to dogs that get adopted and get to live indoors, so that’s one big hopeful option for me. I am a young girl, only about a year old or so, I don’t know a lot but that’s just because no one has taught me, but us Border Collies are known for our intelligence and even though I’m a mix I won’t let you down in that department; I am willing and able to learn everything you want to teach me, but first you have to get me out of this place! There are lots of dogs to choose from but why not get the smartest one in the kennel? Me! After all I was smart enough to get my picture in the paper wasn’t I, and speaking of my picture-could I have a longer tongue? If you would live to visit the kennel it’s at the Sheriff’s department right on M-32 just east of Atlanta. I am in kennel number 7, and this week that is your lucky number and hopefully mine.
