October 2, 2006 ROSY!
My name is Rosy , and I am of mixed heritage. We think some Brittany Spaniel which would account for my color and my very soft hair and maybe some Labrador Retriever which would account for my size. Not sure what else but must have some sugar in there somewhere because they say I am very sweet.
My caretaker calls me Nosy Rosy, says I am always watching everything he does; I even try to read the paper with him which just might be why he has offered me his glasses. I just want to be with my people and be involved in what they are doing. I have a dog house in my kennel, but I won’t use it. You see I am a house dog; I have never lived in a “dog” house, and I don’t intend to start--no matter how many times I get told it’s for my own good. I will wait patiently on my blanket for a wonderful family to come get me so I can live in their house.
I love people, I like to play, I can be patient and lay at your feet, I keep myself very clean, I don’t like to get dirty, I keep my kennel clean so I must be housebroken, I have manners, I am smart and level headed, and I don’t chew things up or make a mess. Please don’t adopt me if you plan on leaving me tied up outside; I am a very good girl that wants to be with her family in a warm and loving home.
If you would like more information on me please contact Pauline at 989-785-3463 or come visit me at the Sheriff's Dept.
Please remember to spay and neuter your pets. If you have a cat that needs to be done, there is a mobile cat clinic coming to Hillman on October 14th. To make reservations call 989-786-5139. Vaccinations and mico-chipping for both dogs and cats will also be offered at this clinic.
