RUTHIE

Hi there! My name is Ruthie, and I am staying at the Sheriff’s Dept. kennel for right now, it’s just a temporary thing until I pick my new owner to take me home. I am very black and very white; some have said I look like a penguin or that I look like I am wearing a tuxedo, but we all know girls don’t wear those! I had a very exciting week as I had the chance to go to the fair. I had a great day, met lots of people and got to give lots of kisses, met lots of kids which I love and am very gentle with. I showed off all the things I know and looked for a new owner, but I don’t think they came by our booth. Maybe they just couldn’t make it to the fair. My friend Jenna was lucky to have spotted her new family and went home. Maybe my new family will see me here. I know my manners, love to go for walks on a leash, and most of all I love to give kisses but only if you let me. My job here at the kennel is to protect my kennel, so if you come to visit don’t be surprised if I do bark at you, I think I am supposed to do that with strangers, but you won’t be a stranger for long as I make friends fast. If you want more information on me, please call Pauline at 989-785-3463. She can tell you all about me. She also wanted me to tell you that a very nice couple came for Able, the older Beagle, took him home, fed him some tiny tidbits of steak for a special treat and was lifted into their bed for the dreamiest night he had in a very long time. Good job, Able! Oh, one more thing, don’t forget about the upcoming events, micro-chipping in Atlanta on Sept. 16th, cat spay and neuter clinic along with vaccinations for dogs and cats Sept. 30th in Lewiston and October 14th in Hillman. You can get all the information needed on this website.
Sincerely.
Ruthie
