Hi everyone! My name is Peanut, and I am a young boy dog, maybe not even a year old yet, so you could say I am still a pup. I am very cute, smart and playful; I could play for hours but only if you wanted me to. For now, I am staying at the Sheriff's Dept. along with my brother Cashew. We were both picked up for running around; we didn’t know we were doing anything wrong at the time. We were just having fun. The people here aren’t real sure what kind of dog I am, a “mix” they say, maybe Beagle, maybe Labrador, or maybe something in-between. That’s it for sure, something in-between. Bigger than a Beagle, smaller than a Lab, just right in-between, hey, do you think there just might be some Springer Spaniel tossed in here? Whatever I’m mixed with must be good because I am one happy dog and so is my brother Cashew. He thinks he got the good looks of the family but don’t believe him; it’s me that got all the “cuteness” and the “smarts.” If you are looking for a great friend, you have found me! I will be waiting at the Sheriff's Dept. for your visit. Or you can call Pauline at 989-785-3463 for more information.
If you would like to send a donation to help with the care for us dogs, please send it to ECAS, P.O. Box 434, Atlanta, MI 49709, and please tell them it’s for us dogs.
In case you didn’t know, you can take your pet to get his or her picture taken with Santa at the Atlanta Library, Thursday, Dec. 21 from 3:30-6pm. Maybe, just maybe someone will come adopt me, and I will get to go too!
