OLLIE

OLLIE

I guess there is hope for each of us after all. Yesterday my friend Teddy was adopted and is now living in a nice loving home. Teddy first came into the Sheriff’s department in September of last year then in March of this year was moved to the new shelter where he waited and waited for a new home. Some of us would think – if Teddy doesn’t get a home it sure didn’t hold much hope for the rest of us; but the day has come and hope has returned! So, they say I’m next in line, my name is Ollie and I’m a black lab mixed with some longer haired dog. I love people very, very much and press my face sideways to the kennel bars to get some gentle rubs from the people passing through. I try my very best to be picked but so far haven’t had much luck so maybe being in the paper will help me find someone that wants to love me forever. I’m about 3 years old and walk very nice on a leash, I will walk right next to you and always looking up to make sure I follow your move, I also know how to sit and I’m not much of a big mouth in the kennel. I do have to admit that some days I get so excited I try to jump on people, I don’t really mean to and I know I’m not supposed to but I just can’t help it, but once I’m around people more and living in a home I promise I will quickly get over that nonsense. I’m very glad for my friend Teddy and hope my special home will come soon; it would be nice to be all settled in well before the holidays start. Hey, wouldn’t my shiny black coat look great with a beautiful red ribbon around my neck. I would very much like for you to come visit, maybe we were meant for each other! I will be waiting at the shelter or you can call if you like 989-785-3738. See you soon!
