Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! My name is Molly and I’m a Walker Hound. Even though I still have a few days left to see if my owner shows up they said I could still be pet of the week because I seem to have so much to say. I like to call it singing and boy can I sing, I have a wonderful voice for a Walker Hound. I am not the typical tri-color, ho hum, black, white and brown – I am red and white with lots of character ticking, much prettier than my friend Rex who is just the run of the mill color. I know we won’t get any of that turkey or stuffing but we still have lots to be thankful for, we have good food, clean water, warm dry straw, a house to get out of the wind, someone that comes clean up after us and plays with us, and we are safe from harm. Those are all the things we are thankful for. I would really like to add to my “thankfuls” list that I got a new home before the holiday. They say it gets pretty quiet around her during those times so I’m hoping upon hopes that someone sees my pretty red face (and I tried to put on my saddest face ever) and decides to come and get me. I’m a very nice girl, I don’t jump on you and I’m smart.
