Hi Everyone! My name is Merlin and I’m a very cute black kitty with long white whiskers. I am living at the shelter only until my new family comes to adopt me. I love to be petted and really like to be around people; I like to play and get along with the other kitties that are here. One of my friends is a black cat named Blackie, he is very quiet and doesn’t come out much so I have been trying to make him feel more comfortable here; I give him cat baths all the time even though my tongue sometimes gets tired but if that’s what it takes to make Blackie feel better that’s what I will do! I’m a young kitty, only about 10 months old but I’m already neutered and have all my shots so I’m ready to go to my new home. My brother Popeye got a new home last week, what a lucky cat he is - this week is my turn to be lucky. I want to be in a home that will keep me inside where I will be safe from harm and a home that will give me lots of attention and lots of petting as I just love that the most; my purer just goes crazy when I get petted!
