Pet of the Week July 30, 2007 --Marcus
Hello out there! I would like to have everyone’s attention; my name is Marcus, a yellow Labrador Retriever. I need help getting out of here; the competition is getting stiffer here; there were Labradors here when I got here, more came in since, some have come and gone, many are still here, black ones, chocolate ones, and yellow ones, kinda feels like a family reunion for Labs except I didn’t know any of them until I met them here. I got to be the lucky one this week to tell my story, and with keeping my paws crossed, I hope someone reads this and comes to meet me, falls in love and takes me home. I am about 2 years old, very friendly, love people and other dogs. I’m smart and a quick learner, not to mention my good looks, and don’t I just sound like the friend you have been waiting for? When you come to visit, I’m in “lucky” kennel number seven just so you don’t get me mixed up with any of the others. The tops of my ears might be pink, but that’s just healing stuff my friend puts on me because when I first came in my ears were all chewed up and bloody from flies biting the tops of my ears. They are healing up, and they don’t hurt as much either. I am very thankful for the help; hey, that’s another quality of mine-- I will be very thankful to you if you adopt me. Come visit me and take me home!
If you need to talk to someone about me, just give Pauline a call at 989-785-3463.
Oh, one more thing, my friend Midnight went for a car ride to get a bath ,and he wanted to hang his head out the window like all dogs do, but they wouldn’t let him because of all the dangers, flying bugs, stones, exploding tire pieces and even falling out. Gosh I didn’t know it could hurt us, so please protect your dog and don’t let him hang his head out of car windows. Thank You, Marcus.
