LOUIS-- Oct. 29, 2007 Pet of the Week
Hello to everyone! My name is Louis; they think I am a Rottweiler German Shepherd mix, maybe. Heck, they can only guess, and I won’t tell; it’s just not important to me. What is important is that I find a home that will take good care of me and love me as much as I will love them. I still don’t understand why my owner hasn’t come here to find me. I keep watching all the visitors come hoping that my owner would finally be one of them, but so far that hasn’t happened, and it’s time to move on and find another home. I am still a young dog between 1 and 2 years old; I absolutely LOVE to play. I’m big, tall and handsome, and on top of that, I have manners and a great outlook on life; people are great, other dogs are great, and even living here isn’t so bad, but it sure can’t compare to a real home. If you are looking for a nice dog, I’m it! I am willing to learn anything you want to teach me, and when school is over, I am ready to play.
If you are interested in meeting Louis, he will be waiting patiently at the Montmorency County Sheriff's Dept., or you can call Pauline at 989-785-3463. Please don’t let your dog end up like Louis; a simple identification tag or license could have gotten him back home quickly, and if you lose your dog, please make sure you go look at the Sheriff’s Department kennel along with neighboring shelters in our area. It’s our responsibility as pet owners to actively look for our lost pet.
