JASPER--May 22, 2006

Hi everyone! I am in doggy lock up at the Montmorency County Sheriff's Dept. and would like some help getting me out of here; you see, it all started when I had a simple encounter with a porcupine, and it went all down hill after that! Not to worry, I had the tell-tale porcupine gifts removed from my face and mouth and have certainly learned that porcupines are not to be messed with. I am a big Malamute they call Jasper. I am a very quiet big teddy bear kind of dog and would love to get out of here and go to a new home. I have been here for a while now and have not caused any trouble or problems. I try my best to show visitors how good I am, but so far I haven't been picked. Well come to think of it, I don't think anyone has gotten picked in a while. A few of the lucky dogs had their owners come get them, but the rest of us are still waiting, and the kennel is getting full, mostly of black dogs, so if you lost a black dog , come look; chances are that your black dog may be here. Maybe you lost a very handsome Malamute (not to mention any names) and will see this in the paper and come rescue me.

If you would like more information on Jasper contact Pauline at 989-785-3463 or go visit the Sheriff's Department if you would like to add some love and loyalty to your life. Please remember to spay and neuter your pets, there just isn't enough homes to go around; we can help if your dog is 45 lbs or over-- call Linda at 989-785-3325 or Pauline at 989-785-3463.

With all the new dogs at the kennel, we are running very low on Pedigree dog food; if you can donate a bag, it would be greatly appreciated by all the dogs at the kennel. Also a BIG Thank you for all the blankets and bedding that has been donated; the dogs love having something soft to sleep on.
