Finally, it’s my turn! My name is Jack; I am a German Shepherd Husky mix. I am pitch black with one ice blue eye and one brown. They say I’m a very beautiful dog, and when I get that desperately needed bath and a good brushing, I will be strikingly handsome. When I first came into the kennel, I was a bit crazy, reaching my arm through the bars trying to grab people as they went by, but it’s only because I needed some attention. I didn’t want the people to go away! Well, I have calmed down a bunch since I’ve been here; I get attention, play time and a bit of learning too. I hear them talk about me, and they say how impressed they are with the way I behave. They talk of what a nice dog I am and how beautiful I am. I do try very hard to be a good boy; I like most of the other dogs, but mostly, I like people. I want to please them, be with them, and play with them, do all the great things people do with their dogs. I want a forever home, and I sure won’t disappoint you if you adopted me. Spring is here, and summer is right around the corner, now is a great time to adopt a dog, go for long walks and watch the woods come alive again, together, you and I! Me and my dog named Jack!
