Yes, it’s me again – Cola. I’m the same little Beagle that has been Pet of the Week before; I’m still waiting for that special person to come adopt me. I’m about eight or nine years old, and with good care, heck I could live eight or nine more. I am a Beagle which means I will follow my nose wherever it leads, sometimes right smack into trouble so I really need a home where I will be kept safe. Little Trisha is also a Beagle and she got a great home, they have a fenced yard and walk her on a leash too; she’s a lucky little Beagle and I want to be lucky too! They say I’m the sweetest little dog here; I’m not very talkative except when I’m excited to see you. It doesn’t take much to please me, I will dance around in happiness when I see you coming down the aisle with my dinner, or when I get my fresh blanket for the day; sometimes toasty warm fresh out of the dryer. I love everyone here and love all the visitors but just once I would love to hear someone say “we would like to adopt Cola”. I would surely be doing my little dance then- I could be the one getting the leash put on and walking down the aisle to leave for my new home, feel the excitement from my new family and see the smiles. It would be me, Cola’s time to shine. I know all these feelings because I see them happen to all the other dogs, I see how happy they are and how happy their new best friend is and how they never look back to those of us left behind. Somewhere out there must be a great home for the very sweetest little Beagle girl ever.
