Hello to everyone, my name is Henry, and I’m still here waiting for a new home, but I want to talk about my friend DJ across the way. I feel very sad for him. He is afraid of most everything, even a leash; forget it he won’t walk with one; I am a witness to that; but let me tell you that DJ has a heart as big as the moon. He melts into people if they take the time to visit with him. He sure isn’t like the rest of us that run to the front of the kennel yelling, Pet me; pick me." That’s not DJ; he just waits and slowly wags his tail, but no one seems to see him ever. I keep telling him to cheer up, get a little peppy dude and maybe you will get noticed. Guess he just doesn’t have it in him to be outgoing. He needs a home that will be patient and work slowly with him. He is a beautiful dog and will make someone a very nice companion. This is the kind of dog that will be loyal to the end. He will not forget the loving arms that rescue him.
If you come to visit us dogs at the kennel, take the time to get to know DJ. He needs a tender-hearted person to give him a new start on life.
