Howdy! My name is Husker I don’t know what happened to my family, one day they were just gone and now I’m looking for a new place to live. I’m a red and white English Pointer; I’m three years old and have some professional bird dog training under my collar. I’m very friendly, I like everyone, I do know some commands and I’m crate trained so I’m not a bird brain but I sure like birds. I used to live in the house so this living outside thing at the kennel has really been hard on me so I’m looking to find a new home that will keep me inside. Besides, us dogs want to be with our family - how can we protect you, comfort you, keep you company or make you laugh if we aren’t “with” you? I am up to date on my shots, micro chipped and neutered so I am ready to go to my new home whenever you are ready for me.
Remember, I am a Pointer, I have energy and am very athletic, so if you are looking for a couch potato I’m not the dog for you, not saying I won’t crash on the couch but it will only be after a hard day’s work. I’m very handsome if I do say so myself except for a little crook in my tail, you see when I was little tiny my tail got broken and now I have a permanent crook, oh, don’t worry it doesn’t hang limp or anything like that it’s just not straight as an arrow; so what - still works just fine.
