EARL
|
Hello out there! My name is Earl and I came to the shelter as a stray, a very nice lady found me, said she couldn’t keep me but wanted me to be safe so she brought me here. They think I’m a Retriever Mastiff mix, they threw the Retriever part in there because I’m just not as big as a Mastiff would be. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a smaller dog; I’m defiantly a big dog – just not a huge dog. I’m young – they think between one and two, I’m smart, know some commands and know how to be loved. I’m not the dog for just anyone, I’m powerful and I’m a protector, its part of my breed and I know I have a job in life and that would be to protect my home and family and to be a great companion to them. I just went to the vets and got neutered, they said I could only get adopted if I had this done so I was very glad that I had that done, besides they told me I would be a much better companion for someone – said I would think better – you know what I mean, think more about my family and less about girl dogs. I was doing great not thinking about girl dogs until I saw that Ollie playing in the big yard with Sugar, they were having so much fun together and I was wishing so bad it was me playing with Sugar and not Ollie. But that’s alright too, someday I will have a new family of my own and life will be great, so to heck with Ollie and Sugar! Did I mention I’m a very handsome dog? Well I am (maybe you can tell by my picture). I am also housebroken; I NEVER make a mess in my kennel and sometimes I have to cross my legs waiting for the morning people to show up to let me out but I manage to keep it in. I would really like to find a new home so if you are looking for a new companion maybe you would consider coming to meet me. I will be waiting at the shelter or you can give them a call if you need more information 989-785-3738 |
