DOLLY

My name is Dolly; I am a girl dog, part Husky and part German Shepherd, but that’s just unimportant details. The important stuff is what’s inside: I am very sweet natured and gentle, I haven’t met anyone I didn’t like, but my most favorite people are kids. They are the most fun of all; oh, yeah, I do like other dogs too, so it wouldn’t be a problem for me to share a home with another dog friend.  Just like the rest of us here, we are all strays that no one came to claim, but that’s lucky for you because now is your chance to come and get me. I just had a bath, so I’m smelling pretty good right now (better than that skunky smell I had before). I am ready to go home with my new family.

I am learning a few things like sit and heel, but I need some polishing, and I can be perfect at it if someone will work with me. I try to keep quiet most of the time (believe me, that’s hard for us girls to do sometimes) .I have learned that lots of barking isn’t a good thing to keep doing. I am about 4-5 years old, so don’t let my picture fool you, I look older than I really am because my very light tan markings makes me look grey in the face, but believe me, I am still very much a young lady.
