Hi, my name is Duster and I’m a Boxer Pit bull mix. I’m about a year or two old and came into the shelter as a stray. They said I wasn’t neutered and that’s most likely why I wasn’t staying at home. Well my “home” never came looking for me and the shelter people said we are going to give you one less reason to ever want to leave your new home - you are getting neutered! And they weren’t kidding; one day not too long ago they did exactly that! Hey, it’s ok, I’m all recovered and it wasn’t all that bad and I’m really starting to think differently now. I’m more interested in attention from people than chasing after girl dogs so I think that’s a good thing. I’m well mannered, I don’t usually jump on people, I don’t bark much (or whine like some of the dogs I know). I know some commands like sit, shake, come and can quickly learn many more as I like people a lot and want to please them. Won’t you come visit me; even if you don’t adopt me I still would like your attention. I would really like to leave here soon because the people that work here are getting very attached to me, they keep telling me how much they love me and I’m afraid if I stay too long I will make them all cry when I leave and I sure don’t want that!
