Hello to Everyone! My name is Duke and as you can see by my picture I’m a very handsome Yellow Labrador Retriever, at least most of me is, everything but my tail - I think it belongs on some other dog because it curls right up. I try real, real hard to be a gentleman of a dog, I don’t jump on people, I walk right next to you when I’m on a leash, never pulling like I see other dogs do, I know “sit”, “shake”, “down”, and a few other things that I just haven’t yet revealed to the guys here. They say I have the dreamiest of coats, it’s so soft and smooth it feels like butter, maybe that’s the reason I get lots and lots of petting. I also have a spot on the top of my head about the size of a big acorn, just a different shade of yellow, a bit darker than the rest of me (maybe this spot goes with my tail), I was almost called “spot” because of it but thank goodness they changed their minds and called me Duke. Anyway, I love to play ball and would love to have an inside home again. I’m a good boy and you would be proud to call me yours, I promise!
