PET OF THE WEEK--June 16, 2008

Hi, my name is Cinnamon and I’m just a little baby kitty; only about 10 – 12 weeks old. They have been telling me I will grow up to be the most beautiful cat because I am so darn cute right now. I love to play, my favorite toy is a little Kong mouse, it has a long rubber tail and I like to pretend it’s the real thing and do all my cat exercises like batting, pouncing and flipping around – it’s a lot of fun. I also like to chase the mouse pointer on the computer screen – and when I get bored with that I move on to the keyboard, it makes lots of little clicking noises so I know a mouse must be hiding in there somewhere. Right now I have to share a home with several dogs and several cats, I like them all but it sure is hard to get my share of attention around here. I dream of a home where I’m the only kitty – where I can get all the petting and all the play time just for myself, oh, maybe I could share with another cat but let’s not go overboard with 3 or 4 that’s just way too much competition for me. I am an indoor only kitty, sometimes I try to sneak out but I get picked up and hear that same scolding “Cinnamon, I know you think it will be fun out there but it is very dangerous for kitty’s to be outside on their own, you must stay indoors where you will be safe from harm”, so, I guess for my own good I better listen and be an indoor kitty. I am playful and sure like to put on a show for anyone that wants to watch. I am already fixed and had my first shots so I am ready to move on out of here to a home of my own.
