Pet of the Week
CINDER-RELLA
June 12, 2006
My name is Cinder-rella; I don’t know why I am still here. I have tried to be a real good girl so someone will pick me, but I guess because I am quiet, smaller and on the end kennel no one really sees me. But I am here if you are looking!I don’t really know what kind of dog I am. I was thinking I might be part black lab. but I am in no way going to be that big. My hair isn’t that long, and no way do I have a face like that either. My friend up here said maybe I am some sort of terrier. But it doesn’t really matter what I am except cute with a capitol “C”. I take extra care to stay clean so my coat stays very shiny black. It’s very short and easy to care for, a nice brushing with a soft brush is all it will take to keep me beautiful.
Because I am young, I need someone to teach me things like walking on a leash and things like that. They have been trying to teach me things here, but there are just too many dogs to teach all of us.
I love people, big and small, but I do get real excited and jump on people. I just can’t help it right now because I just get so happy that someone pays attention to me. I can learn to not do that, but meanwhile I don’t want to scratch a little person either, so be patient with me.
All of us dogs up here want to thank all the very nice people that brought us bags of food; we sure aren’t going to go hungry, but I still want to get out of here and find a real nice home to live. Please come see me, I am in Kennel #6, and I will be waiting for you.
If you would like more information on the dogs, call Pauline at 989-785-3463, or just go to the Sheriff’s Dept. and pick out your new best friend.
Don’t forget we can still help you get your dog spayed or neutered; they will be much healthier, less apt to run and make better pets. Call Linda at 989-785-3325 or Pauline at the number above.
