Hello Everyone! My name is Bosco and I’m a Golden Retriever Husky Mix - or so they tell me, heck I don’t know what I am except a dog and I think that’s enough. I can tell you that I love everyone I meet, I’m only about a year or so old, my teeth are pearly white, and I love to run and play. I love our new exercise yard, it’s big enough for me to kick it into high gear and go flying past the other dogs. I get along great with the other dogs, especially Porcha, she is my best play buddy. When people come to visit I try to be good and not bark but it just gets the best of me and I can’t help but try to tell them to “pick me, pick me” but I think sometimes my bark scares people because the walk away from me but I’m just trying to get your attention so maybe you might think about adopting me for your new best friend. I do know a few things like sit, walking on a leash pretty good if you make me and I wait like a good boy to get my food, I know there is much more to learn - I’m smart, willing and just need someone to teach me. If you want to meet me just head over to the Elk Country Animal Shelter; that is where I’m staying until I get me new forever home, just like my buddy DJ now has, yep at last DJ got his wish – his very own family complete with kids.
