Hello, I’m Becky! I’m a young and healthy lab mix that’s about 1 year old. I came into the shelter looking a little rough. I was missing some hair and my skin was irritated around my neck. Luckily the people here took care of me and I’m looking and feeling much better now. I actually had some puppies not too long before I got here but I’m a retired mommy now. The mom life is a lot of hard work. And I know how many puppies there are running around out there so it’s pretty stressful wondering whether your kids found homes or not. They could have even ended up in a shelter like me which isn’t my favorite thing to think about. The good thing though is that if they ended up in a shelter then they should be on their way to getting adopted into new homes with loving families. That’s definitely what I’m looking for. I would make a great family member! I love to play and get petted. I can already sit and I’m pretty sure I’m already potty trained because I always keep my kennel clean. I’m a smart girl that has a long life ahead of her to learn everything you would ever want to teach me. So guess where you can find me? At the Elk Country Animal Shelter.
